Monster Island, The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster was released around the time of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The story is about an Island called Monster Island. There, a monster may be found, who will then be named the Monster Island.


As an asylum film, it is able to afford a large budget and uses it well. It focuses on a few people and keeps its big stars in one place where they can all be recorded during lunch breaks. But, remember that this is a kaiju movie and they do it well, so maybe The Asylum won’t be so bad with it?
